Salter Path is an old, Outer Banks island town off the coast of Morehead NC. It is composed of descendants of original squatters who moved there about 200 years ago, who still speak with partial British/Anglo accents.

I discovered and bought this place from an original "Salter Pather" and fixed it up with a shed, camper and dock. We had years and years of fun there, making friends with everyone in the whole little town. I eventually had to sell the place, but fortunately was able to sell it back to an original townsman and close friend. He now has it "for sale" even though he doesn't want to really sell it. But if you are interested, you can contact me and I'll let him know.

NOTE: My friend has changed things a bit since I sold it to him. The camper is gone, the septic has been upgraded to a FOUR bedroom capacity, and the dock has been completely overhauled with state of the art lifts on both sides now. The place is just amazing. And so are all my friends down there!!!

This little place on earth is one of the coolest places I have ever owned or spent time. It is so peaceful and real. The kids are cool, the parents are so friendly, and life is great down there.
